The Department of Accounting and Finance organizes the MSc Program "Public Economics and Policy" aiming to prepare the students to work as high-level personnel in the Greek public sector, as well as in international organizations. The level of knowledge provided makes it possible to continue studies at doctoral level.

In particular, we aim to:

Preparation of executives capable of working in public organizations and agencies in Greece and the European Union.
Development of knowledge and skills of already employed public administration executives.
Development of a wider educational environment that combines theory, research and practical applications, using modern teaching methodologies and tools.
Providing the necessary high-level knowledge, with the aim of efficient and effective control of human and financial resources, a basic condition for the economic development of our country and the European Union.

The program operates under Law 4485/2017 and leads to the award of a Master's Degree in Public Economics and Policy. The course has a duration of three semesters. Graduates holding a degree from Greek universities and technological institutions (T.E.I.) or from equivalent, recognized institutions from abroad can be accepted.
